Hello,
My name is Prangchat Sathianthammawit, but friends often call me Deedee. Growing up in Bangkok Thailand, my grandmother was a seamstress. She crafted beautiful dresses for me when I was a kid. She is inspiring me for sewing. My mom, too, played a pivotal role, teaching me the art of making toys by using available materials in our house whole, instilling in me a love for design and creativity. Surrounded by DIY projects at home, it became evident that crafting were intrinsic to my life.
Having previously worked as a fashion designer in New York, in 2013, I took the spare-time to establish my own venture — something fun and reflects to my personal style. W.B.THAMM was born. Upon relocating from the bustling streets of NYC to the serene charm of SLC in 2021, I wholeheartedly dedicated myself full-time to create a sustainable clothing line. Following the successful launch, I was honored to clinch the Etsy Design Awards in the clothing & accessories category in 2022, marking a significant milestone in my journey. YAY!
Few-of-A-Kind
Sustainable
Fashion
Matters
After my 13-year long career as a fashion designer in NYC, I’ve experienced firsthand the profound impact of the fashion industry on the environment, witnessing the destructive footprint it leaves and the pollution it causes. Moreover, I have always been careful about ensuring that every piece of clothing I buy is made ethically. Throughout the years, I have started a mission to craft my own garments using reclaimed materials, giving new life and purpose to existing fabrics. Now, I am excited to reveal this “Few-of-a-kind” collection to the world. Each piece captures its own unique narrative and is highly collectable. From the design process to the final stitches, every step takes place in my new home base of Salt Lake City, UT. My biggest goal is to produce items that not only adorn individuals, but also carry stories that can be shared, thus spurring a movement towards low-impact textiles and sustainable fashion.
